Juan David Campolargo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This policy explains how Juan David Campolargo handles information on this website and in the operator-only tools used to manage The UIUC Talkshow on YouTube.

Information collected

This website may receive information you choose to provide, such as an email address or message when you contact me. It also uses Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights, which may collect device, browser, referral, approximate location, page-view, and performance information.

The UIUC Talkshow upload tools use YouTube API Services. With authorization from the channel owner, the tools access the channel identity and upload videos, titles, descriptions, visibility settings, and scheduled publication times. They also receive YouTube video IDs, processing status, and API error information. OAuth credentials and resumable upload state are stored locally on the operator's computer and are not offered to outside users.

How information is used

Information is used to operate and improve the website, respond to messages, understand aggregate site usage, diagnose errors, and publish or schedule content that the channel owner has approved. YouTube API data is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Sharing and service providers

Website analytics and hosting data may be processed by Google and Vercel as service providers. YouTube API requests are processed by Google under Google's privacy practices. Personal information and YouTube API data are not sold. Information may be disclosed when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the services.

Retention and security

Contact information is retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain relevant records. Local YouTube OAuth credentials and upload records are kept only while needed to operate the channel, troubleshoot uploads, and prevent duplicate publication. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and YouTube data

You may block analytics through your browser settings. The channel owner can revoke the tool's Google account access at any time from the Google Account security settings. Revocation stops future API access. You may also request deletion of locally stored YouTube API credentials or other personal information by using the contact address below.

Use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Children

The website and upload tools are not directed to children under 13, and they do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as the website or tools change. The date above will identify the latest version. Questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be sent to uiuctalkshow@gmail.com.
